Ray Stevens News - Squirrel Loose in Vestavia Hills United Methodist Church (10/27/19)

It was like a Ray Stevens song come to life at the Vestavia Hills United Methodist Church in Alabama last Sunday morning! Right before the congregation passed peace there was a loud scream in the church. Pastor Bill Brunson explains that a squirrel had come in through the stained glass onto the balcony and was terrorizing some of the parishioners. Brunson also remarked on the similarity to the Ray Stevens song "Mississippi Squirrel Revival". As you can see at the end, they were able to get the squirrel out of the church and continue service. Boogity Boogity!
