Bang Phut Nok Temple was built around 1597.
The history of the temple's creator is unknown.
It is named after the canal that is located along, the Bang Phut Canal and at Ban Bang Phut.

The temple received the Royal Award of Wisungkhamsima and Phutthasima in 1647.

Various buildings include the chapel, 8 meters wide and 15 meters long, built in 1597, in the old Thai style. It has 3 doors, 1 at the front, 2 at the back with no windows.

There is a Buddha image sitting in a meditation posture. It is an old Buddha statue that is more than 200 years old. In addition, the temple area also has statues of Phra Rishi, Phra Sivali, Buddha images of birth in various poses, and a Mahamongkol elephant.

Bang Phut Nok Temple also has sacred objects, amulets, and Takrud Mahasabhan amulets for those interested to worship as well. The temple has an alternative medicine clinic with acupuncture to treat various diseases, treating diabetes, high blood pressure, paralysis and more.

The temple is small and relatively unknown. The main hall has recently been restored with plaster murals inside. For anyone that enjoyed old temples it’s worth a visit but not to make a special trip to see.
