Franklin Flying Circus Garmin KC Airshow 2023

First of all I want to say a huge thank you to Kyle and his wife Liz for taking the time out of their very busy morning during the Garmin Airshow in Kansas City, to speak to me. Jason and I first met this wonderful team earlier this year at the Thunder Over Dalhart show in Dalhart, Texas. I have to admit before meeting them I was not very familiar with the Franklin's Flying Circus, but have since been looking forward to seeing them at the airshows. Kyle is an amazing pilot and it shows in the way he can fly his Piper Super Cub. The way he is able to make it look like he is flying badly is a skill not every pilot can master. The best thing is when he takes over the plane and as a videographer who has now seen his act a few times, listening to the crowd and the excitement and surprise in their voices as they are really convinced that "Ben Wabnoski" has stolen the plane. It reminds me of the first time we saw his act even though it was not in person, we had been watching the EAA Air Venture (my dream is to one day get to see it in person) and hearing the announcer stop the show due to plane being stolen. I have to admit I was in complete belief during the performance.
I highly recommend if you have a chance to see this team in person to go see them.
