Honestly, I'm not very familiar with this but apparently, an esports organization called Galaxy Racer is in hot water. This topic was shared by one of our viewers Tokai. First Galaxy Racer is a Transmedia Powerhouse focused on Esports, Content Creators, Music and Sports (according to FB). So what happened was a whistleblower came out and laid out the problems according to esportsadvocate.net. the whistleblower alleges that the company is six weeks behind in paying staff in North America. To make it worse employees have been forced to sign a non-disclosure agreement. the whistleblower further alleges that vendors in North America and content creators have also not been paid for their work in months. men are being prioritized over women when people do get paid. Further, the whistleblower claims in their email that popular YouTube star and influencer Noor Stars is owed $1M for brand deals going back to 2022. Top team Nigma Galaxy is owed $5M in back payments. Note that Galaxy Racer has a SEA and Philippines branch. They manage some creators and even host tournaments like the M88 Invitational Tournament. So far here is what I've seen in the social media interactions, do note these are all allegedly anecdotal remarks. A Former Country Manager at Galaxy Racer - GXR said this is also including SEA. Some from Thailand are saying the same thing about not getting paid. Actually, they haven't paid our company for a video prod series. Payment pending for exactly 14 MONTHS already. - from another user. North America pa lang yan. Pag nalaman pa nila yung nasa Pilipinas - from another user. But according to GXR “ We explicitly refute all the allegations and claims made in the email.” So what do you think, if you have more information about this Galaxy Racer specially in Philippines our hotlines are open!
