New Mexico 2023

Our journey started with a stop at Jemez Springs visiting Valles Caldera. We then went to Navajo Dam for a days trout fishing on the San Juan River. The next stop was Chama where we took a steam engine train ride through the mountains of Northern New Mexico and Southern Colorado ending in Antonito, Colorado. Next was a stop at Pecos National Historic Site. We continued our journey to Fort Sumner visiting the Billy the Kid Museum and his grave site. Roswell was next as we took in the UFO Museum. Lincoln was next for more Billy the Kid history. White Sands National Park was next. So much white sand in a desert and no beach. We concluded with a day in Albuquerque. The big event was a Tram ride up the side of a mountain to 10,378 feet.
