This was a fun and challenging workout. Running uphill increases the output (effort at a certain pace) and decreases the impact, so it's a great way to get in high intensity work without putting too much extra stress on the body. For this workout, I ran up 8th Street in Boise for just over 7 miles, and Spencer drove me down. #LactateThreshold #UphillRunning #VO2Max #AllieOstrander #theathletespecial
