Chokecherry Jelly and Syrup - Garden to Table (Jelly Fail!)

We are making jelly and syrup from the chokecherries we recently gathered in this garden to table edition (sort of). The process starts with juicing and ends with the jars out of the water bath canner. Although the jelly didn't quite turn out it is not a loss as we will still use it as syrup. I never really think of things as failures, but I am glad it isn't a total waste. And though I have never had jelly not turn out, I learned to read my notes more carefully!
