In this video I do my longest run of the year in preparation for the big trail running season ahead. I run 16 miles with 4000ft of elevation gain making for an epic long run workout that tested my aerobic and muscular endurance. I'm wearing the best trail running shoes available: the Nnormal Kjerag. The Bogus Basin ascent is an iconic running trail near me, and something that I've always wanted to do! This is a great workout for those looking to build uphill strength because it tests the ability to keep going, even when your muscles are completely taxed. I loved this run and hope to do a lot more training like this very soon!
This video also featured my new obsession with matcha, my friend, Achilles, roller skiing up a mountain, commentary about training and the love of running, and some good food. I hope you enjoy it!
