Interview of Edwin Raymond, Author of "An Inconvenient Cop: My Fight To Change Policing In America"

On this episode John & Eric sit down with (Ret) @nypd Lieutenant Edwin Raymond to discuss Broken Windows Policing, Quota based policing & Race. This conversation is the first of its kind where you will hear the two biggest advocates of broken windows policing sit down with its most outspoken critic. This conversation will shock many as you will see the conversation about policing is much more nuanced than we have all been led to believe. Edwin starred in the Emmy award winning @hulu documentary #Crime&Punishment where he spoke out against quota driven policing and the negative effects it had on the Black & Brown Community in #NYC. Edwin also took a controversial stand when he started the "Cops For Kapernick" movement. Edwin is also a former candidate for @NYCCouncil & is nationally known for being the highest ranking member of the #NYPD to become a Whistleblower. Because of his fight Edwin was awarded the @NAACP Courage Award. He recently authored a book "An Inconvenient Cop" which is scheduled to release on October 17th, 2023 (Link Below). He is also hosting an event "Inconvenient Conversations" on October 14th, 2023 at the #KingsTheater in Brooklyn NY (Link Below). We recommend everyone read his book and if possible attend the event.
