Making a giant hamburger using an unpretentious wild fruit in Yunnan
The Burmese grape is found in hot places in Yunnan. Local people like hot and sour food and are good at using sour fruits as ingredients in their cooking. The Burmese grape is the most inconspicuous among many wild sour fruits, with a large pip and less pulp. But there are still many people like me who have a soft spot for it. The Burmese grape is most abundant in Banna. I picked some of each color, and made liquor soaked with Burmese grape for grandpa. I also made a Burmese grape mayonnaise and drizzled it on a giant hamburger. It's really delicious and made me happy!
