From director Renzo Aneröd:

"In 1999, I started writing my first novel and in 2000, together with filmmaker Bo Harringer, I started planning for my first documentary film.

In 2004 I published my first novel – Löftet, and the documentary film – Under a dark sky of a nation

It was the start of a series of documentaries that depicted the period 2000-2015 through subcultures, exclusion and the working class in Sweden

In this series there were a total of six documentaries:

Under a dark sky of a nation - Under en blågul himmel
Children of Islam - Islams barn I folkhemmet
I don't want to live this life – Jag vill inte leva detta livet
Forever patriot – För alltid patriot
Thailand dreams - Thailandsdrömmar
All or nothing - The dream that died. – Allt eller inget – Drömmen som dog.

There were also three novels on the same theme.

The promise. - Löftet
The wild boar. - Vildsvinet
Enemies - Fiender

As well as a book anthology.
When others sleep. – När andra sover

In this series, the new Sweden has been portrayed through motorcycle clubs, skinheads, Islamists, hip-hoppers, punks, nationalists, right-wing radicals, left-wing radicals, young people who did not want to live, feminists, anti-feminists, criminal groups, Swedish working men looking for love in Thailand, occupational injuries, psychological illness and other phenomena that increased in the new Sweden.

I have decided to post the 6 films included in this theme freely for you viewers."
