Apple has announced that it will release a software update in response to customer complaints regarding the recent iPhone 15 models, which were launched just over a week ago and have been reported to run hot.

According to Apple, the elevated temperature issue in the new iPhone models is attributable to a combination of factors, including bugs in iOS 17, app-related issues, and a temporary setup period.

CNBC’s review of the new iPhone Pros also noted that the iPhone 15 Pro Max exhibited heating issues, CNBC reported.
