Russian Regions Hit by Ukrainian Drones and Shelling

On Sunday, Russia experienced yet another barrage of Ukrainian drones and artillery fire, resulting in injuries to three individuals and necessitating the diversion of flights at an airport, according to officials.

Since Ukraine initiated its counteroffensive in early June, regions in Russia have repeatedly alleged that Kyiv’s armed forces have carried out almost daily drone attacks and shelling directed at civilian areas.

“On Sunday morning, the armed forces of Ukraine shelled the area of the central market in Shebekino,” said Vyacheslav Gladkov, governor of Russia’s Belgorod region bordering Ukraine, The Moscow Times reported.
