Mushroom tours are planned to be organized in Altai

A new type of tourism is gaining momentum in Russia. Many residents want to go mushroom hunting accompanied by professionals. Such tours last from one day to a week's stay with tents and a survival course.

Representatives of the tourism industry of the Altai Territory noted that residents of the region go to the forest on their own, but there is a prospect of developing this area among guests of the region, reports Business FM Barnaul.

The authorities intend to popularize mushroom tourism so that mushroom pickers from the European part of the country come to Altai.

Residents of the Altai Territory stock up on mushrooms for the winter. They take home buckets, boxes and baskets filled to the brim. Mushrooms are fried, boiled and salted for the winter.
