Remember when the Media used to be at least somewhat critical of Pharmaceutical Companies? 🤔

What happened? Well, besides spending over $11B (yes Billion) a year on advertising, TV spots, funding shows/movies and news, Big Pharma started buying up stock in media companies until they had enough shares to put their reps on the Board of Directors. Those reps hold major weight over the content that network broadcasts or doesn't.

This is a really old short news story from Sharyl Attkisson on how much money corporations like Wyeth (now Pfizer) and Merck gave to the American Academy of Pediatrics, and how their money influenced the CDC schedule through groups like ACIP. It's sad how we've all become numb to such egregious levels of corruption, fraud, and willful negligence towards children at the hands of criminal pharmaceutical companies and bad actors.
