Steam Cloud Spotted at INL: No Need to Alarm

Some people were concerned after seeing photos of clouds of steam at the Idaho National Laboratory (INL) over the past week. However, INL has confirmed that there was no emergency and that the steam cloud was caused by the release of excessive steam from one of the reactors. This is a normal and safe operating procedure.
