In the Zaporozhye region, crews of the Tor-M2 anti-aircraft missile system of the 29th combined arms army of the Vostok group of troops continue to carry out tasks of destroying air targets and covering troops from enemy air attacks. The Tor-M2 anti-aircraft missile system is capable of detecting, capturing and destroying up to 4 targets simultaneously. The crew of the combat vehicle manages to occupy a firing point, deploy the launcher and locate the target in just 2 minutes. One more minute to capture the target and identify it. Then a vertical launch of an anti-aircraft missile is carried out. Western analogues of air defence anti-aircraft missile systems can only dream of this method of entering the flight path.

Objective monitoring means show that a Shark type reconnaissance drone of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was destroyed by fire from the Tor-M2 air defence system while approaching the line of combat contact. Drones of this type pose a serious threat; they are the ones who aim HIMARS missiles at the positions of Russian troops.

In just the last few days, crews of the Tor-M2 air defence system have shot down over a dozen enemy drones - attack, reconnaissance, and kamikaze drones.
