If you thought Disney was scraping the bottom of the intellectual barrel with the Snow White remake, you haven't heard about what they are planning on doing with Bambi.

There aren't many more timeless, coming of age stories than the 1942 animated classic. So leave it to Disney to put a no name hack incharge of "modernizing" a legendary piece of work. Writer Lindsey Andersen Beer is looking to make the iconic story more relatable to today's children by unknown means.

Translating that shlock, expect Thumper to be a gender dysphoric jack rabbit, seeking validation in living they/them's truth as a Elephant.
