1990 Swatch Chrono

In this video I show how to synchronize the hands on a Swatch Chrono from 1992 and then I disassemble it. This is part of my series of videos on the watch I call the GG. Each small detail about Swatch and Omega designs helps draw a more accurate picture of what the GG is not, and in turn points the way to what it may be. One thing it is not is a prototype for the Swatch Chrono!

With regard to this 1992 Swatch Chrono, I noticed in this video by @watch-repair that the Chrono Irony in their video is a completely different movement. I believe this movement can be identified because it has a 10ths of a second register rather than a 12 hour register. In any case, if you're shopping for a used Chrono you might want to note the difference. https://youtu.be/pQ5xdpFSEBs

With nearly three quarters of a billion Swatches sold to date, if this watch dates to 1965 it changes the history of Omega, Swatch, and the Swiss watch industry. If is confirmed to have been designed, made and signed by Gerald Genta then it's arguably even more historically significant.
