Healing the Divide Ep. 4- Poetry Jam On Family Division and Media Politics

Hi! It's Sam! We have ourselves another poetry submission, so let's jam, people! Sometimes, recognizing the problem is the first step to solving it. This was sent in by someone who had their family torn apart by divisive politics in the mainstream media. She was a staunch Sanders supporter, while her parents were hardcore Trump supporters. Over time it created a rift within the family. To the point where having what used to be a civil debate would quickly turn into a loud argument, full of anger. This author wants that to change. So they have decided to take a step towards reaching across the aisle by recognizing the problem in the hopes of starting the healing process within their family.
