ArcelorMittal Tailor Banks needs manufacturing technicians

ArcelorMittal Tailored Blanks (A subsidiary of ArcelorMittal) is opening a new manufacturing operation in Detroit, Michigan to produce new laser-welded blanks for the automotive industry. This project marks ArcelorMittal’s first wholly-owned manufacturing operation in Michigan and the tenth Tailored Blanks facility in North America. Utilizing state of the art robotics and laser welding technology, ArcelorMittal Tailored Blanks is able to seamlessly join Advanced High Strength Steels in order to cost effectively reduce the weight of vehicles, improve safety performance and ensure the highest material utilization in the manufacturing of automotive parts.
