Spice Up Your Brunch Game with the Fiery Fusion of Chilli Crisp x Rocket Omelette! 🌶️🚀
A quick and delicious brunch idea for the weekend - a gently cooked omelette filled with chilli crisp and rocket (arugula). Throw in any other herbs or greens you like I just kept this one simple AF 😋
Recipe (makes 1 omelette) 👇
Ingredients
2 eggs
1.5 tsp butter
1.5 Tbsp chilli crisp (get more of the crispy bits rather than the oil!)
Small handful of rocket/arugula
Method
1) Heat butter in a small non-stick frying pan over low-medium heat. Whisk eggs with a fork. Once the butter has melted, add in the whisked eggs and cook for 2-3 minutes, using a spatula to occasionally stir the centre of the pan to bring any cooked egg up to the surface. The eggs should be wet but not runny.
2) Add your rocket and chilli crisp to one half of the omelette. Once the sides start pulling away from the pan, flip the uncovered half of the omelette over the rocket and chilli crisp half. Turn off the heat and slide onto a plate. Dig in 🤤
