An Altamonte Springs police officer was arrested in Volusia County for a traffic offense, according to the department.
An arrest report said Zachary Morrissey was speeding near Fort Smith Boulevard on Sept. 17.
When Volusia County deputies tried to get him to stop, Morrissey kept driving away, according to the arrest report.
"Stop! Stop!" a deputy can be heard shouting in the body camera video released from that night.
One of the deputies followed after Morrissey.
"Forty six central, clear me from this call," he can be heard calling in on the body camera video. "I'm following a hatchback on a Newmark. He almost just took me and 41 out."
Deputies were later able to stop Morrissey.
