Emotive Swill: Waffle and emotional manipulation will fail (ft. Noel Pearson)

Noel Pearson recently gave a speech at the National Press Club. However, the speech was emotive and lacked detail. It was unconvincing, sounded lecturing, and was simply unpersuasive because it failed to grapple with peoples' fundamental concerns. It cast the Voice in simplistic terms as being about 'love for country'. But, this seeming emotional manipulation is likely to fail.
