"The one who lives under the protection of the Most High, dwells in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say concerning the Lord, who is my refuge and my fortress, my God in whom I trust: He Himself will rescue you from the bird trap, from the destructive plague."

- Psalm 91:1-3

In these troubling times, it's easy to lose perspective and be fearful of all the things going on in the world today. Despite that, the God of the Bible, who rescued His followers; is the same today. The problem is most aren't actually seeking Him.

"'For I know the plans I have for you' - this is the Lord's declaration - 'plans for your well-being, not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.'"

- Jeremiah 29:11

The problem doesn't exist with God, nor the circumstances that surround us. It's our instance of doing things our way. Until we let go of our plans and desires of seeking what we want; God can never bless us.

The Word of God says that God has a purpose, a plan for our lives. There is no way we can figure what that is on our own. Submission to God and seeking His direction, is the only way God will reveal His plans for our lives.

With the economy crumbling and the world continuing to fall deeper into chaos; the only safe place is where God has a person to be. Looking at a video like this one, is helpful but to a degree. With the instability the world is going through, there's no way to know what is a true safe haven.

By taking the time to pray and letting God guide you to where you need to be, is the only thing that will guarantee safety for you and those you love. Additional resources that will help:

Wherever God has you live, it's important to apply the verse below:

"Pursue the well-being of the city I have deported you to. Pray to the Lord on its behalf, for when it thrives, you will thrive."

- Jeremiah 29:7
