First impeachment inquiry hearing and my thoughts on the 2nd GOP debate!

The House Oversight Committee's inaugural impeachment inquiry hearing into alleged corruption by President Joe Biden, accused of selling his positions to foreign nationals, is overshadowed by its unfortunate timing, just two days before a looming government shutdown that threatens military personnel's pay.

During the hearing, Democrats have persistently attacked President Trump and witnesses who have no relevance to the current proceedings, diverting attention from pressing matters such as the government shutdown and the escalating southern border crisis. In Eagle Pass, Texas alone, where daily border crossings have surged to over 10,000 in the past month, there is a dire need for attention.

Furthermore, last night's second GOP debate raised concerns as none of the candidates appeared presidential, leaving many to surprisingly view President Trump, who didn't attend, as the victor.

Notably, Nikki Haley, Chris Christie, Tim Scott, and Mike Pence's commitment to continuing funding for Ukraine has raised suspicions of potential ulterior motives and personal gain from the conflict, rather than seeking a genuine solution to the Ukraine-Russia issue.

This has left a significant portion of Americans questioning whether their tax dollars should continue to fund a conflict unrelated to the United States, highlighting a disconnect between elected officials and the people they represent.
