Who are the two witnesses of Revelation Chapter 11? What do they signify and how are they in some ways pictorial of Jesus?

The two witnesses described in Revelation 11 denounced the evil, secular world systems of the day and demonstrated the righteousness of God. Both lay dead in Jerusalem for three days, and then, to the astonishment of all the people, they rose from the dead.
