Prime Minister Narendra Modi embarked upon his visit to Indonesia to attend the ASEAN-India Summit and the East Asia Summit. He was accorded a grand and traditional welcome at the Jakarta International Airport and was also warmly greeted by the members of the Indian Community. He also addressed the 20th ASEAN Summit.
