How to properly release a yellow eye rock fish

Releasing a yellow eye takes time and that’s why most anglers do t want to do it. You have to reel up set out your rod with a descender previously rigged(so now you’re wasting space and a rod)and then take the time to attach the fish and descend to the depths until the pressure releases the clip and thus giving the fish a better chance/survival rate . And now you have to reel up and reset everything again .. it’s very time consuming but it is rewarding to know you’re doing you’re part in conservation.
