Yates Cider Mill begins pressing for cider on Friday

With fall-like temperatures in full force across metro Detroit, another sure sign of fall is here. Beginning Friday, Yates Cider Mill in Rochester Hills will be starting its first press to make the first batch of apple cider this season. The mill has thousands of pounds of apples ready to go. They've been making cider year after year since 1876 and is one of the oldest continually running businesses in the state.
