Rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine is seen on police body camera video being detained in Florida for skipping a court hearing in a speeding offence.

The rapper, whose true name is Daniel Hernandez, is shown in the video being detained on August 9 by deputies from the Palm Beach County Sheriff's office. He secured a $2,000 bond, according to online jail records, and was freed the next day.

Following his failure to appear in court for three traffic citations, authorities said the 27-year-old had an active warrant out for his arrest. He is accused of going 135 mph in a 65 mph zone in June.
