Specifically, more protein. And yes, you can still eat carbs- women’s bodies need them. Actually, at the appropriate times in your cycle it can be really beneficial to eat lots of carbs as long as you’re eating the right types. For example: things like potatoes, and not processed carbs with inflammatory oils and sugars.

Cycle syncing your food and just incorporating more food in general is what I see make the fastest changes to how painful your period is.
