In this video, we’re going to talk about the most common cause of diseases and why you should reduce your sugar intake.

What is the most common cause of diseases?
I believe it all goes back to sugar.

Sugar gets into the bloodstream, and the hormone called insulin pulls the sugar out of the blood. Insulin is made by the pancreas. The pancreas has beta cells that make the insulin that lowers the sugar. Too much sugar is deadly. Over time, the receptor that takes in insulin doesn’t receive it and becomes resistant. You develop insulin resistance and then type 2 diabetes.

Many people with type 2 diabetes are then treated with Metformin. Metformin makes the receptor receive insulin better. But, Metformin can have dangerous side effects.

Side effects of Metformin:

• Lactic acidosis
• Liver failure
• Kidney failure

If you have type 2 diabetes, or you want to prevent it, it’s important to reduce your sugar intake. Counting calories is less important, and reducing sugar intake is the most important.
