How to Prune Perennial Herbs at the End of Summer #hotsummergardentip

Perennial herbs deserve a little TLC at the end of a long, hot summer. Here are two things you can do to help them recover:

1. Prune them lightly all over (aim to remove about 1/3 of the plant).

2. Feed with an organic fertilizer. I like to use worm castings.

Simple, right? After doing this, you'll be rewarded with new growth from happy, healthy plants.
