In this video, we’re going to talk about what’s really behind the stubborn weight issue and the hormones that affect your body shape. If you’re struggling with stubborn weight or slow metabolism, this video is for you.

If you look around, most people fall into 1 of 4 body types.

1. The hips and thighs
When people carry weight in their hips and thighs, this is actually a problem with the hormone estrogen. You may have too much estrogen that’s behind the stubborn weight.

2. A protruding belly
Some people carry their weight in their stomach as a protruding belly. This could actually be because of a liver problem.

3. Sagging belly
Some people have a sagging belly. This could mean there is really an issue going on with the adrenals. Specifically, you may have too much cortisol. Cortisol is the stress hormone.

4. All over
Some people carry the stubborn weight all over their body and not in any one place. This could be because of a thyroid problem. However, in many cases, this thyroid issue is secondary to higher estrogen or a liver problem.

What you have to realize is that stubborn weight is a symptom of something else. You may not be able to lose the weight because you’re treating the weight problem directly instead of the underlying cause.

You may also have a slow metabolism, but again, we don’t want to treat the slow metabolism, we want to help fix the underlying cause. I believe the underlying cause has to do with hormones.

There are 6 fat-burning hormones. But, many people don’t know that there are 3 dominating fat-making hormones.

These 3 hormones that affect your body shape are:

1. Insulin
2. Cortisol
3. Estrogen
