Speaker of the House Anthony Rota resigned yesterday in the wake of his recognition of a Ukrainian Nazi veteran in the House of Commons last week. The Liberal government has said Rota alone is to blame – not Justin Trudeau or anyone else in cabinet. True North's Andrew Lawton says it's not so simple. Also, the Canadian Constitution Foundation is challenging a Calgary bylaw restricting protests of drag story game under the guise of banning "hateful" messaging.
