Western Hypocrisy Strikes Against Russian Gamers

Mortal Kombat 1, developed by Netherrealm Studios, was recently released for PC, PS5, Xbox and Nintendo Switch.

Even though the game series is beloved by many, it has already been in controversy for becoming woke by making the female characters intentionally ugly to pander to angry feminists and liberals on Twitter/X.

The Switch version of MK1 also came under fire for its horrible graphics and performance on the Nintendo system.

Now it even joins Bethesda's Starfield and other gaming companies decision to exclude gamers from Russia.

But is the Western World really in a position to display such blatant racism?

Is this the current state of modern gaming and the death of escapism?
