1:54 What happens when you consume protein
In this video, we’re going to talk about lean protein versus fat protein. This is part three of a three-part series.
This probably goes against what you’ve always been taught, but it may be best to consume fat protein over lean protein.
The goal is to avoid triggering insulin. Insulin can increase the risk of weight gain, diabetes, and many other health issues. Fatty foods actually trigger insulin less than lean proteins do. It’s not necessarily low calories that trigger weight loss. It’s low insulin.
When you consume protein, don’t go for lean proteins. Don’t be afraid of having more fat. This will help you feel more satisfied, so you can actually fast for longer. When you don’t eat, the insulin goes down.
