Let's talk about neutrophil. A neutrophil is a type of white blood cell. The white blood cells are part of the immune system.

Neutrophils are your primary defense against:
• Bacteria
• Fungus
• Candida
• Some viruses

A neutrophil is a specialized type of white blood cell. It's a type of phagocyte, which is a cell that eats things up. It consumes bacteria. It also releases powerful enzymes to break down proteins—bacteria are made of proteins.

If a person is consuming refined carbs or sugar in their diet, neutrophils will go after that sugar instead of the infection. They are basically neutralized by sugar.

There is a study that shows that grief can actually suppress neutrophils. This can make the person susceptible to infections and autoimmune conditions.

Neutrophils have also been found in high amounts in people with autoimmune diseases like rheumatoid arthritis. This means that neutrophils can go rogue and actually lose their ability to differentiate between a microbe and your own tissue, which is an autoimmune case.

Vitamin C is a great remedy. Vitamin C is a good natural antihistamine, and it can help speed up the activation of neutrophils. If you're low in vitamin C, you won't be able to fight infections very well.

Cortisol tends to suppress white blood cells but increases neutrophils. But, when cortisol decreases, the person's immune system is weak. We really need cortisol in just the right amounts. If you're stressed, consuming sugar, and deprived of vitamin C, you're setting yourself up for more infections and inflammation.

If you take a vitamin C supplement, it may be best to take a vitamin C complex and not just ascorbic acid. Lemons and limes are very high in vitamin C. Apple cider vinegar is also great to help phagocytes work faster.
