Today we’re going to talk about how to deal with rough pimply skin (follicular hyperkeratosis). This condition could be caused by a vitamin A deficiency.

Vitamin A is a fat-soluble vitamin that has the capacity to penetrate the wall of the cell to go deep into the DNA of the cell. It could actually help differentiate what a cell turns into. For example, if it’s a normal skin cell or an abnormal skin cell.

Potential causes of a vitamin A deficiency:
• Not consuming animal products (vitamin A is in animal products)
• A gallbladder problem (not enough bile)
• An iron deficiency
• Alcohol
• Liver problems

Remedies for chicken skin:
• Virgin cod liver oil (a great source of vitamin A)
• Omega-3 fatty acid
• Vitamin E
• Consume organic foods to avoid exposure to harmful chemicals like arsenic
