In this video, we're going to talk about how to dissolve kidney stones.

It can take several months to dissolve stones. This is why it's important to use natural remedies regularly to help reduce the risk of developing stones in the first place.

Keep in mind that this video is not made to replace your doctor's advice or cure any illnesses or diseases. This video is only to help you explore your options with your doctor.

Most kidney stones are calcium oxalate stones or calcium phosphorus stones. 20% of stones are made up of uric acid crystals.

There are two important things to start doing if you have kidney stones or are at risk for kidney stones. The first thing is to remove the oxalates from your diet. Oxalates bind with calcium in your kidneys, causing crystals to form. These can become lodged in the pathway out of the kidneys and cause a backup of fluid and pressure.

The second thing is to increase your citrates. Citrate helps avoid the formation of stones and helps dissolve stones.

So you should try to reduce oxalates and increase citrates.

The best remedies for getting rid of stones are:
• Potassium citrate
• Lemon juice
• Avoid oxalates and calcium supplements
• Dietary calcium
• Water
• Vitamin D, vitamin C, and vitamin K2
• Cranberries
• Normalize your insulin (uric acid stones)
• Increase your pH (uric acid stones)

Avoid these foods high in oxalates:
• Spinach
• Avocado
• Dates
• Grapefruit
• Potato
• Wheat
• Beans
• Beets
• Swiss chard
• Kiwi
• Canned pineapple
• Figs
• Tofu
• Nuts

Instead, choose these low-oxalate foods:
• Kale
• Cabbage
• Bok choy
• Cauliflower
• Cucumber
