Take Dr. Berg's Advanced Evaluation Quiz: http://bit.ly/EvalQuiz
Dr. Berg talks about ketosis and sodium, Many times the keto flu is a sodium deficiency. It could be a loss of potassium, but sodium is more likely a low-sodium situation. When you lower your carbs, you lower your insulin. This then causes a release of fluid and sodium at the same time. When you consume carbs (sugar) you retain sodium and fluid.
KETO FLU:
1. Headaches
2. Fatigue
3. Nausea
4. Dizzy
