In this video, we’re going to talk about how you can regrow your brain with intermittent fasting.

Intermittent fasting is one of the most powerful things you can do for increasing neurogenesis. Neurogenesis is the production of new neurons or brain cells.

Fasting triggers brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF). This is like a natural antidepressant. It helps increase your memory, decrease anxiety, and increase your productivity. It also helps with the retention of existing neurons.

Intermittent fasting is the most powerful thing you can do for protecting and growing neurons.

However, there are a few other ways you can increase BDNF, including:
• Lowering your sugar with a healthy keto diet
• Increasing niacin
• Doing high-intensity interval training (HIIT)
• Increasing your vitamin D level
• Increasing DHA

If you are showing signs of neurodegenerative disease, like Alzheimer’s or dementia, then you should start on a healthy keto diet and intermittent fasting plan.
