Dozens of migrants filmed landing at Spanish coast

Two inflatable boats, dangerously overfilled with migrants, have been filmed landing on the beach in Adra, Spain with several other boats reportedly choosing to divert and land elsewhere. Footage, reportedly filmed on Monday, appears to show the boats pull ashore and their occupants disembark.

Spain’s Civil Guard confirmed that around 80 migrants were intercepted after landing at nearby Albuñol, although there was reportedly no response to the landing in Adra, with the occupants of the boats now unaccounted for.

A member of the Civil Guard has spoken anonymously on social media about Spain’s migrant crisis, saying that ‘It is not possible to stop them with their means and ours.’ ‘We have been denouncing the situation for years and NOTHING HAS BEEN DONE,’ continued the post.
