Dr. Berg talks about why mercury is not really an issue when eating salmon. Even know farm-fed fish has less mercury than wild-caught, it is still well below the danger level. The important point is that salmon has a good amount of selenium, which is the trace mineral that is involved in the key enzymes to detoxify heavy metals including mercury. Selenium-based enzymes protect the brain and nervous system.
