Dr. Berg talks about the situation whereby people feel better on carbs, and not on keto therefore, carbs must be good for my body. Most of the time a person is dealing with low blood sugar or a hypoglycemic problem. If you have a problem going from one meal to the next and you feel irritable or moody, then you eat and feel better, then we know you have a blood sugar problem. This also means you have insulin resistance, whereby you can't absorb sugar or glucose inside the cell.
The stored sugar in your muscles will drop too quickly due to a loss of glycogen (stored sugar). To fix this, you need to add more potassium, mod. protein and more fat at the meal - however, you at the same time must avoid sugar.
