In this video, Dr. Berg talks about insulin resistance and electrolyte absorption. Electrolytes include potassium, magnesium, calcium, chlorides, and sodium.
Unless insulin resistance prevents the absorption of minerals from going into the cell. This is why diabetics tend to have electrolyte deficiencies: fluid retention, heart issues, cramps in the muscle, constipation, etc.
