Daedalus a wise inventor who had a son, who wasn't too wise, Icarus.
Icarus and his father, Daedalus, were imprisoned on the island of Crete, by King Minos. To escape, Daedalus crafted wings made of feathers and wax for both of them. He cautioned Icarus not to fly too close to the sun, warning that the wax would melt.However, the exhilaration of flight led Icarus to ignore his father's advice.

As he soared higher and closer to the sun, the wax indeed melted, causing his wings to disintegrate. Icarus fell into the sea and drowned.

This cautionary tale serves as a poignant reminder of the consequences of overreaching ambition and ignoring wise counsel.

However, the most important lesson is to always keep focused on the goal at hand, and never get complacent.
