In this video, Dr. Berg talks about using intermittent fasting and your immune system. It improves the WBC (white blood cells), macrophages, neutrophils, and monocytes. 85% of your immune system is located in your gut. Then we have something called autophagy, which is the state whereby your body starts cleaning up old damaged parts AND flushes out microbes (viruses, bacteria, fungus, yeast, and even mold). Intermittent fasting is a great tool to reduce allergies, gut inflammatory conditions, and even reduce risks of certain types of diseases.
