In this video, Dr. Berg talks about the thyroid. In past videos, he mentions that hypothyroid conditions are usually secondary to high estrogen or liver or gallbladder issues, since T4 (inactive thyroid hormone) converts to T3 (active thyroid hormone) in the liver - about 80% of it. The rest is converted by the kidney.

If TSH (thyroid-stimulating hormone) is high, this means the thyroid is low. If TSH is low, then this means the thyroid is high, making too many hormones.

When people tell you keto and intermittent fasting worsen the thyroid, realize that it's not a worsening of the thyroid, instead it's the thyroid becoming more efficient and your body needing fewer thyroid hormones.

Glyphosate from GMO foods acts as a toxin to cause dysfunction to your detoxification systems of the body, esp. the liver. This then can trigger an immune condition (autoimmune) - Hashimotos. To avoid this condition, start doing organic foods.
